Definitely some crabgrass has turned brown. Can’t see any yellowing of Bermuda grass yet so I think the lawn grass will stay healthy. It’s uncertain if the Bahai will actually die. I have dollar weed, nutgrass, grass burrs, crabgrass, some very broad bladed grass , some other sedge looking grass aside from nutgrass.

Yes the MSM Turf can be applied on the Centipedegrass without killing it, however, some stunting may occur. It is not recommended to apply MSM Turf when temperatures are above 85 degrees as injury may result. Is it too early right now to apply this to St. Augustine in south Louisiana?

The active ingredient of this product is the same as the herbicide formerly sold under the trade name “Manor”. In my experience, Zoysia is quite tolerant of this herbicide at the recommended rates as long as ambient temperatures are under 85F. Spot spraying during summer also doesn’t seem to harm the turf grass.

The book that comes with this is so small, I had to get a magnifying glass to read it. I went all through it and couldn't find the amount for just one gallon of solution, so I calculated using something larger and used my best judgement. I sprayed directly on the leaves of dollarweed, which had taken over my yard. Fortunately, I do not have any fruit trees or other food species in my yard. I saw the Dollarweed and other species of weeds start to die within 4 days, turning yellow at the beginning.
Continuous agitation is required to keep the product in suspension. MSM Turf Herbicide can only be used to control spurge on Kentucky Bluegrass, Fine Fescue, Bermudagrass, Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass and St. Augustinegrass turf areas. Need to see if your target weeds can be controlled in that application range.
