No, it will do more damage to the Bahia than the carpet grass. Bahia grass is cheaper to put in but more expensive to maintain. Try Blindside or Celsius and you will have to mix them at the higher rates listed on the label. Waiting 24 hours before watering is ideal to ensure sufficient time for the product to begin working. I have a 1 gallon sprayer and a lot slightly smaller than .25 acres. Tank mixes with other registered herbicides should be tested for compatibility before full scale mixing. You would want to apply in early spring with temperature during the day at about 65 to 75 degrees after grass has start to come out of dormancy.
